CID, one of India 's longest-running crime shows, is set to return later this month .

The detective show featured three intrepid policemen solving case after case.

The show has achieved cult status, and its characters and dialogues have spawned a wealth of jokes, memes and reels.

Ms Ravi says she won't watch the new CID episodes, but she'll encourage her two children to watch them.

"I'm looking forward to the heroic trio making a comeback," she says.

"If the show remains as clean as it was back in the day , I think it's a great way to introduce children to some of the realities of life and make them vigilant".
