A fatal collision occurred at a southeast Calgary intersection around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon .
A GMC Sierra truck was travelling eastbound on Southland Drive S.E. and entered the intersection on a green light.
At the same time, a black Ford Mustang entered a red light, striking a Ford Mustang.
The Ford Mustang then struck a Buick Verano , striking the truck, police said.
Police said the man in his 70s suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
