Far-right Russian militia leader goes on trial for war crimes in Ukraine

Voislav Torden , formerly known as Jan Petrovski , is charged with committing five war crimes in eastern Ukraine in September 2014 .
The prosecution is seeking a life sentence, which in Finland means an average of 14-15 years behind bars.
This is the first time that Finnish authorities have filed charges for suspected war crimes.
