The nondefense discretionary portion of the budget would be cut by about $2.5 trillion over a decade , or 28 percent from baseline spending.
The blueprint calls for slashing Medicaid , both traditional and the expanded subsidies provided under the 2010 health care law, by almost $2.2 trillion .
It would cut another $642 billion through repeal of the 2010 law’s exchange subsidies, which were expanded under the Biden administration.
The plan would keep in place the current $ 10,000 cap on state and local tax deductions.
