Law Enforcement Review Board hearings are seeking to determine if Calgary Police Service properly handled allegations facing two constables.
Sgt. Julian Klyne said he'd advocated the officers be probed for the actions they took in the early morning hours of Dec. 28, 2013 .
Godfred Addai-Nyamekye was charged with assault for which he was ultimately acquitted and none of the officers involved in the episode have been held accountable.
