Harrogate Town host non-league Gainsborough Trinity in the FA Cup third round on Friday ( 19:45 GMT ) Simon Weaver is the longest-serving manager in English football's top four divisions.
The 46-year-old has been in charge of the North Yorkshire club for 15 years .
He is looking to deliver his dad a financial boost when he takes over from owner Irving Weaver .
The former Sheffield Wednesday defender says he is proud of his longevity.
Manager-owner relationships can be fractious but the Weavers are a close family who have always managed to work through problems together.
The pair try to fit in a game of padel each week to escape the stress of owning and managing a League Two club with a full-time staff of 50 or so people, including a psychologist.
But minor disagreements have flared over playing budgets and contracts.
