Memphis stunned No. 2 UConn 99-97 at the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui on Monday morning to open the iconic Feast Week tournament.

The Tigers looked like it was going to pull off the win in regulation after jumping up by 13 points late in the second half .

But a late Solo Ball 3 -pointer from the end of regulation sent the game into overtime.

Memphis, however, didn't go away — and the Tigers took full advantage of a technical foul from coach Dan Hurley , which led to a seven -point swing in overtime.

P.J. Carter had all nine of his points in overtime to keep Memphis ahead the rest of the way.
