•Time to talk about anti-personnel landmines, Defence Forces says
74% Informative
Janne Jaakkola , General of the Finnish Defence Forces , said Finland should be open to discussing anti-personnel landmines.
He argued that the security environment has changed significantly since Finland joined the Ottawa Convention prohibiting the use of land mines in 2012 .
He did not take a position on whether Finland should withdraw from the convention, as such a decision is political.
