But that could be the last good enrollment news for a while, depending on what happens next year .
The Department of Health and Human Services now thinks even more people will get insurance through the marketplaces this year .
People buying coverage through the Affordable Care Act would have to pay more for it. Estimates from the Urban Institute suggest roughly 4 million people might drop coverage altogether. “I don’t have a model, but I do have knowledge of just how important [the extra financial assistance] has been to folks,” Montz said. “Sad to say, I think that those numbers could be conservative.”.
