My father Lawrence Baillargeon and his two brothers Joseph and Edmund , all three from Windsor , went to war and only one returned.

Joseph ( Royal Canadian Air Force ), 25 , was shot down over the Baltic Sea , 28 , was killed in France .

Both brothers were killed on the same day , Aug. 17, 1944 . It was a sad day for my family.
