'The sixth great extinction is happening now,' she says.
Dr Goodall ’s career has often been challenging, but she has refused to give up.
Her methods and her sense of closeness to the primates she has dedicated her life to have given her a unique perspective.
“Surely people want a future for their children? If they do, we have to get tougher about [environmental] legislation," she says.
