Subway in North York was ordered to close on Thursday for a major sewage-related infraction.
The sandwich chain has nearly 1,150 locations across the province including 187 in Toronto .
The closure notice was due to the crucial infraction “Food premise maintained in manner permitting health hazard (sewage),” Toronto Public Health spokesperson said.
