Tesla Space European correspondent Jan Uricas test drives the Tesla Semi at the IAA transport trade fair in Germany .
Jan 's biggest take away from the event was that the Semi is ready and waiting to take over the European market and beyond.
Two of the Semi team members confirmed that the trucks we saw at the show are already slightly adapted to Europe and they could come to market as is with these two vehicles today .
The IAA Transportation Show is a trade show full of Tesla Semi's competitors, from Man and Volvo Trucks to Daimler and new Chinese entries.
The truck on the showroom floor gave us an opportunity for some other intricate details, too, like a view at the storage compartments on each side of the semi, which are surprisingly spacious and can be opened both from the touch screen and from a button on the respective door.
Pepsico's highest mileage trucks are actually in the beverage business, meeting on the heavier and longer routes.
The heavy duty Pepsi side semis are still at a respectable one kWh per kilometer or 1.609 kWh per mile efficiency.
On the Frito Lay side, they've seen consistent 0.8 kWh per kilometers efficiency.
