'We're going to need everybody': Inside Kansas' offseason overhaul

Kansas is No. 1 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Jayhawks opened last season with 13 wins in their first 14 games.

They went 10-10 , including 5 -7 in their final 12 games.

Coach Bill Self says he's been thinking about next season about recruiting since last year's tournament loss.

Kansas faces No. 9 North Carolina at 7 p.m. EST on Friday .

Hunter Dickinson : "We got a lot more athletes on the team. Like last year , our best warmup dunker was a walk-on. The warmup lines will look way different this year ," Dickinson says.

Dickinson and Griffen Mayo and Storr were go-to-to guys at previous schools, including St. John's .

Dickinson went through a similar process when he arrived from Michigan in the spring of 2023 .
