Temperatures in Finnish Lapland reached 11.9 degrees Celsius on Friday morning , breaking a nearly 50-year record.
The temperature in the village of Nellim in the municipality of Inari was 11 degrees Celsius, the last time it was that warm in November was in 1975 , when the mercury rose to 11 degrees .
It's not only warm in northern parts of Finland , as nearly all of Finland was seeing temperatures nearing 10 degrees on Friday .
