Calgary has not had a downtown police station since the closure of a satellite station in Victoria Park in November 2017 .

The Stephen Avenue Safety Hub that launched three years ago will relocate to an expanded site along 6th Avenue S.W. It will replace the front counter services at District 1 station in Ramsay , which closed Monday .

The space will also house city bylaw and peace officers, as well as the city’s vulnerable persons team.
