Wales' coastal piers are a hive of activity with wildlife and anglers.
Penarth Pier in south Wales is 117 years old and permits fishing for nine months of the year .
Aberystwyth Royal Pier in Ceredigion attracts amusement arcade enthusiasts and roosting starlings.
Bangor Garth Pier in the north is home to art gallery, craft shops and tearoom.
"So these dolphins are top of the food chain and the apex predator so this is a really safe, shallow protected nursery for these mothers to raise their calves and that's why their population is currently thriving so well," she added. She said everyone who visited was enamoured by the dolphins. "They are just very charismatic, very playful, very social, very curios and very intelligent and that's why people love them," she said.
