70% Informative
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith will face a leadership vote on Saturday morning .
Smith is expected to win the UCP leadership vote by a majority of party members.
Some in the party have been recently outspoken about Smith and what they feel is a government that hasn’t pressed the party’s priorities enough since being elected in May of last year .
They’ll also vote on 35 policy resolutions Saturday afternoon that could determine future government policy.
Those resolutions would first be vetted by the government to determine if they could be adopted.
One resolution asks the province to “recognize the importance of carbon dioxide to life and Alberta ’s prosperity”.
