Elections B.C. has outlined the timeline for the final count to be held Oct. 26 to 28 .
The final count will be composed of three distinct processes: the counting of mail-in ballots, counting of absentee ballots, and recounts of ballots counted on election night .
Mail-in ballot count will begin Saturday , starting Saturday and starting with electoral districts with the narrowest margins.
Recounts will begin Sunday at 1 p.m. and continue until Monday, Oct. 28 .
There are two mandatory recounts because the margins between the top two contenders are fewer than 100 .
The lead is fewer than 500 votes in 12 B.C. ridings after the preliminary count on election night .
Candidates from four ridings requested recounts by the deadline of Oct. 22 .
The parties are evenly split; the NDP are ahead in six races and the Conservatives in the other six .
