Chuck Todd: How Harris and Trump are making their closing arguments

John Avlon : It's hard to believe we're at the end game of this historic election cycle and (knock on wood) it’s ending more normally than any campaign featuring Donald Trump has ended so far.

He says the campaigns appear to agree on who the final persuadable voter is: a Republican or Republican -leaning independent who doesn’t like Trump personally but is skeptical of Kamala Harris ’ perceived liberal politics.

Julian Zelizer : The numbers and issue set do favor Trump , but I can’t help but wonder whether his behavior is going to be an impediment for him.

Not everyone on the Democratic side of the aisle believes democracy and character are enough to win in the end.

But it’s notable to me that in examining the TV ads Democrats are closing with on the House and Senate levels, the democracy issue is almost nonexistent.
