A Russian -aligned propaganda network appears to be behind a coordinated effort to promote wild and baseless claims that Minnesota governor and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz sexually assaulted one of his former students.
Experts believe that the campaign is tied to a network called Storm-1516 , which has been linked to, among other things, a previous effort that falsely claimed vice president Kamala Harris perpetrated a hit-and-run in San Francisco in 2011 .
Both candidates on both tickets issued stern warnings to the Russian ratfckers to stay the hell out of our elections.
A legal principle known as laches “bars this 11th hour attempt to disenfranchise these electors in the November 5, 2024 general election,” Patel wrote in today ’s ruling. The order also rebuffed the merits of the RNC ’s legal arguments and held that Michigan ’s current rules for overseas voters comport with state and federal law as well as the state constitution. So many rats, so little time..
