A conservative activist accuses Kamala Harris of plagiarizing passages in a book she co-authored in 2009.

Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, a conservative think tank, says Harris lifted “verbatim language” from uncited sources in “Smart on Crime’s” The book was published the year before Harris was elected California attorney general.

CNN reviewed several of the passages highlighted by the activist.
