A portion of the world's iciest, coldest continent is "greening" at a dramatic rate because of global warming.

Vegetation cover across the Antarctic Peninsula has increased tenfold over the last four decades .

Temperatures on the peninsula have risen by more than 5 degrees Fahrenheit since 1950 , a much bigger increase than seen elsewhere in the world.
