A Windsor man went on a downtown window-smashing spree, targeting multiple business owners at whom he was angry.
The 55-year-old pleaded guilty on Friday to four of 14 mischief offences for which he was charged by Windsor police.
In a joint sentencing submission by prosecution and defence that was accepted by the judge, he avoided jail by seeking out rehab and agreeing to pay restitution to eight businesses.
The wait lists for necessary treatment and rehabilitative services are too long, Dean 's client says.
It wasn’t until more than a year after his arrest that his client was able to get into Brentwood .
“You should be commended (for attending Brentwood) and getting your life back on track,” Justice Pollock told Dean ’s client.
