Donte DiVincenzo was traded from the Knicks for Karl-Anthony Towns last month .
The Minnesota Timberwolves guard says he was not upset the Knicks acquired Mikal Bridges because it would move him to the bench.
He was expected to play in Sunday ’s preseason game against the Knicks .
The only thing that made sense for me was (going to) Minnesota ,” DiVincenzo said. “Initially, you never want to get traded. So I was kind of upset, I was kind of hurt. And my mind went right to (the Timberwolves). It was an easy transition. There were no angry feelings, no mad feelings, nothing like that. It was an initial, Damn I got traded.’ And you move on to the next thing. It was all love.”.
