Peter Bergen : Secretary of State Antony Blinken lied to the U.S. Congress about aid to Gaza .

Bergen says he lied to Congress that aid was not being blocked from reaching civilians in Gaza .

He says this is a grave violation of the public trust, made all the worse because it was committed in order to allow the starvation and bombing of innocent Palestinians to continue.

Antony Blinken lied to Congress about Israel blocking U.S. humanitarian aid to Gaza , says Frida Ghitis .

She says the secretary of state knew full well the assessment that both organizations had made, along with those made independently by groups like Human Rights Watch .

Ghitis: The seriousness of what Blinken did here is hard to overstate. It has two separate dimensions, the legal and the moral.
