Aileen and Bill Turnbull , 77 , were married in Aberdeen , Scotland , in 1967 and filmed leaving the church on 8mm film equipment.
In 1981 , the Turnbulls moved to Brisbane , Australia , but without the film.
Decades later , Terry Cheyne of Aberdeen was told by his uncle that he needed to come by and pick up his reels of 8mm military footage taken in the 70s that he had stored at his place.
After retiring last year , Terry posted a screenshot of the footage on Facebook to find out who the couple was.
