Francisco Lindor's grand slam gave the Mets a 4 -1 win over the Phillies in the NLDS .

"I don't know that there's another player in baseball you want at the plate right now in that situation," Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns said.

"That was a swing of a lifetime," Pete Alonso said of his reaction to the grand slam.

The Cleveland Indians beat the New York Mets 4 -2 in Game 1 of the N.A. N.C. NLCS Game 1 at Citi Field .
