At one point given a 10% chance to live, Kelsea and Willow were born at 32 weeks , breathing on their own.

They were diagnosed with stage 4 twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome ( TTTS ) which describes a condition where two babies share one placenta, locking them in a delicate balance where one could die if it gives away more blood than it receives, and the other could die from an overworked heart.

After a one-month stay in the NICU , they went home and are developing normally.
