Archaeologists in Turkey have unearthed a 1,800-year-old Roman sarcophagus with inscriptions.
The tomb was buried just 8 inches ( 20 centimeters ) beneath the ruins of a basilica.
The lid and interior of the stone coffin feature Christian cross symbols similar to engravings previously found inside imperial tombs in other parts of Turkey and Syria .
