Dallas Democrat Jasmine Crockett is the national cochair of Kamala Harris's presidential campaign.
Before she joined Congress , she was a member of the Texas House from 2021 to 2023 .
Before entering Congress , the civil rights and criminal defense attorney filed 75 solo bills.
"I don’t do the talking points. I’m going with the real," she says.
Texas Rep. Cynthia Crockett is national cochair of the vice president's presidential campaign.
She says she's not working in Texas at all; she's in North Carolina , Atlanta , Vegas and Texas battleground states.
"I think she picked me because of my dedication and loyalty, but also because she has a gift to be able to connect with people," she says.
Texas Rep. Tom Crockett supports a bill that would cut Secret Service protection from felons.
