"Gramneisa" combines the words “grandparent” and “amnesia,” has been popping up on Reddit discussions for a while.
Back in June , Maryland -based therapist and mom Allie McQuaid made an Instagram video about the term.
So instead of “that’s NOT how it happened!” try something like “When you said that I never did X when I was Y’s age, it makes me question how well I’m doing as a parent.” Probably easier said than done, to be sure.
