No. 6 Tennessee coach Josh Heupel returns to his alma mater in his much anticipated return to Oklahoma .
The Vols beat the No. 15 Sooners 25 -15 in a game that saw Tennessee build a 22 -3 lead going into the fourth quarter .
"This game was never about me coming back here, not for this football team," he says in his postgame news conference.
Josh Heupel starred as a player and quarterbacked the Sooners to a national championship in 2000 .
"You guys have changed my life and my family's life forever," he says after the game.
It was Tennessee 's first win over an AP top-15 team on the road since beating Georgia in 2006 .
