•Undecided voters, set in their views of Trump, now weigh backing Harris
72% Informative
8% of voters surveyed in NBC News ’ July national poll said they weren’t sure how they would vote in a potential race between Trump and Harris .
In new interviews, 21 of them spoke about how they processed the tumultuous events of the summer , including a Democratic candidate switch, a pair of vice presidential picks and two apparent attempts to assassinate Trump .
Four voters who were initially skeptical of Harris have now decided to support her.
"I don’t think she’s going to make a great president," a woman in Alabama said.
Other voters have decided to sit out the election, disillusioned by the candidates and polarized politics.
