Linus Torvalds has released the Linux 6.11 kernel.

The latest version introduces several enhancements, particularly for AMD hardware users.

The kernel now includes baseline support for AMD 's upcoming RDNA4 graphics architecture.

Linux will now have its own version of Windows's Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).

Torvalds also said he believes it will contain long-delayed features such as the new eBPF-based scheduler and, after 20 years of work, the final implementation of real-time Linux ( RTLinux ).
