EmuDeck is seeking funding on Indiegogo to build a gaming console.

The Emudeck Machines project is the brainchild of a software coder behind EmuDEck software.

The EM1 and EM2 models come in two different configurations with high-end graphics power.

The project lead says the EM1 model has 8 GB of RAM and no dedicated graphics card, and the EM2 will have 512 GB of storage.

EmuDeck Machines effort has attracted nearly $13,000 in pledges in just under 24 hours .

Founder DragoonDorise tells Ars he's making just $50 on each unit sale.

He says he's "not trying to get rich here with this, I'm not even expecting to make money".
