Sandy Snakenberg , aka " The Bubble Pirate ," is facing a court date after receiving a citation for "fluid littering" The city of San Diego calls the city's municipal code against littering.

The 63-year-old bubble-maker says he uses up to six gallons of liquid per day with the residual chemicals ending up in the lawn areas.

He plans to go to court in October , hoping to bring attention to what he views as unnecessary enforcement of activity.
