Diagnosed with stage four cancer in bone marrow and given 'miracle' recovery in February .
But family say other health issues may have not been addressed in four-year period.
Powys health board said correct diagnosis had been made at the time.
Aneurin Bevan health board said: "We are very sorry that Mr Whitney and his family remain unhappy with the outcome of the meetings surrounding his care" Mid and West Wales Senedd member Jane Dodds said the lack of clarification was "not acceptable" "They are measured and reasonable in their asks of the health authorities," she said.
