Ithaca Energy confirmed in its latest results that both Cambo and Rosebank are progressing as planned.
Drilling at Rosebank will begin this Autumn , it said, while Cambo ’s development will begin by 2026 .
Mr Miliband previously described similar North Sea projects as climate vandalism’ during his time as shadow energy secretary.
Rosebank is located 130km north-west of Shetland and is predicted to produce up to 500m barrels of oil.
