A Washington Examiner analysis of Google’s Ad Transparency Center reveals the campaigns of Reps. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Adam Schiff used the tactic this year against their GOP opponents.
The approach has been used heavily by the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris , which this month has rewritten the headlines and descriptions within the ad so it appears more favorable to Harris .
