Scientists have found that higher levels of visceral fat are linked to the development of Alzheimer's disease in middle age.

This is according to new research to be presented at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) The authors hope these discoveries could be used to diagnose Alzheimer's even earlier, hopefully allowing for better intervention treatments.
