Man who allegedly killed neighbor with long Japanese sword believed victim was a spy.
The victim, aged 43 , was attacked in front of the main gate of an apartment complex in Eunpyeong District , northern Seoul , at around 11:30 p.m. on Monday .
The offender fled to his residence immediately after the incident and was apprehended by police about an hour later .
Police approved the suspect's ownership of the sword in January .
