The first hydrogen-powered vertical takeoff aircraft has made its longest flight.
Joby Aviation completed a record 561-mile ( 902km ) test flight over California .
The flying car is powered by six propellers, which give it the ability to take off and land vertically like a helicopter.
The craft is fueled by hydrogen, meaning it produces no emissions other than water vapour.
It has already completed 25,000 miles ( 40,000 km ) of test flights in Marina , California and New York .
