Swiss limit tourist accessBBC
•68% Informative
Zermatt authorities have decided enough is enough to limit tourist access to the Riffelsee lake.
Edelweiss, gentian , and alpine golden primrose thrive at 2,800 m ( 9,200ft ) above the famous lake.
Tourists can still come, but now they are shepherded towards the lake on marked paths, with the pastures fenced off.
