Study: Pregnant women who received a COVID-19 vaccine in their first trimester did not have a significant increased risk of birth defects.

The study followed more than 343,000 babies born to women with an estimated start of pregnancy.

The CDC recommends that people who are pregnant, trying to get pregnant now or who might become pregnant in the future, receive an updated version of the vaccine.

Study is the latest in a growing body of evidence showing the vaccines are safe to receive.
