How to watch the 2024 British Open Golf Championship: Tee times, where to stream and more

The Open Championship will be held at Royal Troon Golf Club , South Ayrshire , Scotland , from July 18 - 21 .

American Brian Harman is the defending champion of the Open , and this year , Masters winner Scottie Scheffler , Tiger Woods , and Rory McIlroy are among the other 156 players competing to win the coveted Claret Jug .

Early rounds will be broadcast on NBC and USA starting at 4 a.m. ET on Thursday and Friday .

Peacock will stream all four days of the tournament, starting just before the first tee time on Thursday, July 18 .

This year marks the tenth time that the Open will be played at Royal Troon Golf Club .

The par three , 123-yard hole is called "the shortest hole in Open Championship golf" The hole earned it's nickname after Scottish golfer William Park referred to it as having a pitching surface skimmed down to the size of a postage stamp.
