How Americans Get News on TikTok, X, Facebook and Instagram

X remains more of a news destination than other sites, but the vast majority of users on all four are seeing news-related content.

Facebook news consumers are the most likely to say they’ve ever gotten news there from friends, family and acquaintances.

Younger users are much more likely to see breaking news on X, Facebook and Instagram .

Democrats who get news on X (including those who lean Democratic ) are more likely to say they extremely or fairly often see inaccurate news there.

Republicans more skeptical of information on Facebook , Democrats more skeptical.
