More than a million PACT Act claims have been approved and the VA has processed 1,327,228 claims since August 2022 .

4.17 million claims, including 1,655,810 claims specifically connected to the Act, have been made.

Presumptive conditions mean that if someone was in Iraq and they develop lung disease, officials have to presume that it's due to the individual’s service.
