House to vote on Alejandro Mayorkas impeachment again after failed first attempt

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is expected to be impeached for his handling of the U.S.-Mexico border crisis.

Republicans say he should be charged with high crimes and misdemeanors for not enforcing immigration laws.

The Department of Homeland Security calls the impeachment push "pointless," "unconstitutional" and "baseless" The vote comes the same day as a special election in New York's third congressional district.
