Child rape conviction upheld on appeal

Barrkim Tyreaf Stallings , 32 , was convicted by a Luzerne County jury of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and burglary.

Stallings challenged statements by assistant district attorney Susan Luckenbill made during her opening statement and closing argument asking the jury to look for "red herrings".
